Tuesday, February 21, 2012 - Im a huge cabernet fan and always wanted to try a Silver Oak. I decided to splurge on day because I think there is something to be said to try a wine you always wanted to taste. Smelled really nice when I opened the bottle. Nice fruit and I personally thought it smelled buttery. Let it open up for about 2 hours and when i tasted it the taste didnt live up to the way it smelled. I couldnt justify spendind $60 on this wine again. just tasted boring. at least now i can say i tried it. cheers.
