Friday, February 24, 2012 - Big beautiful zin with all the things that zin should have. Nose is blue berry with bramble with spice. Ripe blueberry fruit that is followed by cooking spice and hint of vanilla finish with oak tannins to give it a great nutty finish. Some pucker from tannin and good acidity to balance the ripeness of the fruit along with the bold alcohol that is powerful and but not too hot on the palate. Good balance provided for the boldness of this delicious fruity zin.
