Saturday, February 25, 2012 - Drank side by side with a 2008. This wine had a great deep purple color that is known to the Malbec varietal. Nose was loaded with bright fruit and heavy tannins. On the palate, the wine had a nice balance of alcohol and dark fruit. However, more one-dimensional and a little more tannic than I would have liked. All in all a good wine for the price, could use some cellaring.
