Monday, April 2, 2012 - This is a very high quality rose and came in one of the newer dark colored bottles. This had flavors of cherry, pomagranate, rhubard, raspberries, strawberries, minerals, grapefruit, medium acidity, and a whisp of tannins. This is a little bit heavier than a rose from someone like Billecart-Salmon, but is still extremely enjoyable and fresh. The NV Vilmart Cuvee Rubis certainly has the backbone and depth to stand up to food and for me would be ideal with a fish dish. No need to wait to drink this.
