Monday, March 26, 2012 - Tasted at La Musica del Vi. Barrel sample. Dark. A lot of wood, vanilla on nose, red fruit. Primary and monolithic. Super tannic, fruity, balanced, high acidity, very long finish. (92-93)

Thanks
Philippe

It's difficult for me to compare, as I tasted both 2009 and 2010 in the same session and the latter still had to go 9 more months in barrel. With that being said, 2010 had a a very good balance, tannins and fruit despite the amount of noticiable wood. These wines need a lot of time in bottle. In Ribera, 2009 has been an "hedonistic" vintage, while 2010 is more femenine and elegant. Both are a can't miss vintage and I surely will get my PS2010 soon.
Hope this helps.
Jordi
