Sunday, April 8, 2012 - Benefits significantly from breathing. Add a slight amount of sediment and this wine presents a perfect opportunity to break out that fancy decanter.
Strong alcohol on first pour. Breathing mellows. Tart cherry, and I would say forward but not aggressive tannins. Full bodied with a medium finish (licorice? - but not bad). Very good. Could happily drink everyday. Not offensive. Very tasty, but at the same time can't pick a dominant flavor. ...and that's actually kinda nice.
