Surprisingly beautiful, elegant and delicate wine. Everything was rounded and soft and sweet. Still fairly fresh. First notes of orange and strawberry followed by red raspberries and strawberries. A tinge of acid (pineapple) and then a very quick finish. I doubt I'll ever have another 18 year old Tavel, but this was an unusual treat.
