89 Points

Thursday, May 24, 2012 - Initially a whiff of cassis, then more into dark ripe fruit and a little sous-bois on the nose. Medium bodied, delivering rather vibrant dark, portlike smooth fruit with a tiny sweet attack in the beginning. Firm and gentle tannins. Decent acidity. Subtle earthy and oaky flavors. Starting to show signs of maturity. With more airtime the oakiness seemed to increase. Nevertheless, very enjoyable and in a good drinking phase.
