Thursday, May 31, 2012 - Very mellow wine (now). Fortunately the flavors are still coming through in this pinot. It is very rounded and now subtle fruit, tannins and earthiness are the most pronounced flavors. For a hot year pinot it's quite surpising that this stands so well this many years out. Makes me wonder what the 09 Or pinots will do for the next 5 years.
