85 Points

Saturday, June 30, 2012 - Light ruby core, rather pushing the envelope for rose (I've seen red Sancerres that are actually paler than this). A bit of heat on the nose, and some fresh red berry fruit. Dry, balanced acidity, a touch of salinity and bitterness on the finish. Rather full-bodied for a rose, and the alcohol feels quite high (though it is only 12.5%). The red berry fruit from the nose carries over well on the palate, and the length is medium. Holding up very well after 3 years.
