Sunday, July 8, 2012 - Dark purple in color, with a nice palate of spice and dark fruits like cherries and blackberries. Got a bit of violets as well. The palate seemed a bit hot from alcohol however, so the 14% may be more like 15+%. Excellent with the prime rib done medium rare. A definite QPR at under $13.
