Friday, July 13, 2012 - Popped and left in the bottle for about 30 minutes to slowly breath before dinner. Lovely balance of mature black fruits, spice and musty earth on the nose. A little thin at first, but as it took in air in the glass the fruit and earth came forward, as did some dusty tannin as well. It's a rough call as to whether I would think this has much more life in it, but at the $35 price point I found this for, it's a great value to drink short term.
