Monday, July 30, 2012 - Tasted blind: Harsh nose with some heat and espresso beans and chocolate. Firm, almost agressive tannins, no elegance whatsoever. Some weird green notes among this ripeness. Only the finish gives away Burgundy but this is a mess. I guessed Burgundy but was surprised to see the producer was Courcel. The fruit is not jammy, just too much extraction and lacks acidity.
This was undrinkable.
