Friday, November 16, 2012 - Bright, dark ruby with purplish highlights. Vanilla, bell pepper on the nose are followed by charming black cherry and blackberry aromas. Some leathery and spicy aromas underneath. Medium to full bodied. Delicious and fresh with a smooth texture on the palate. Good lasting. A fruit concentration which is balancing the distinct acidity well. Tanin structure distinct and integrated. A successful wine which compensates the 14, 5 % Alcohol in a good way. Ready to drink now, but could be better in 1-2 years.
