Nice earthy Bordeaux, though for some reason I couldn't shake the fact that because of the nose, I kept expecting something bigger and more complex on my pallate and this wine never delievered anything like that. Pleaseant and very good with the beef dish we served it with (Beef Burgandy), held up to those foods and complimentented well but not sure it would hold up well with game like venison.
