Tuesday, February 19, 2013 - Wow. A big, dominant and powerful styled wine with lots of iron, graphite, earth, humus, rocks, minerals and tons of dark, brooding fruit. Currants, richness, meat and animal on the finish. The palate is velour like and very smooth, polished and rounded. A very big and very full bodied wine, it is a monumental showing and a candidate for wine of the vintage for me.
