Saturday, March 2, 2013 - 2 hr. decant through vinturi. Nose of red fruits, some vanilla and quite a bit of alcohol still present. Medium palate. Red fruit is starting to come out with a green pepper note torward the finish. Tannins are well integrated. Good wine but at this stage a little monotonous. Will see how it develops with some more air.
