Saturday, March 23, 2013 - Dark purple red. Nose is intense; Plums, tobacco. Notes are from day 2 and wine really improved with air. Lacks complexity, strong tannins ("Grip" is a good word for this, oeno), tightly wound core but lacking depth and finish. Good QPR but missing depth in the middle. Medium finish.
