Saturday, March 16, 2013 - Served during dinner proper (Roast beef tenderloin, whipped parsnips, roast carrots) in our Ridge Wine Tasting. This was paired against Ridge 2007 Lytton Estate Syrah.
Certainly a good representative of Ridge Zin, more serious than light. Felt a bit tired, perhaps a bit past its prime, throwing a good deal of sediment. A nice wine, but not up to the Syrah (noted separately).
