Friday, April 5, 2013 - A medium ruby color. Aromas and flavors of red and black cherry, strawberry, earthiness, basil, and cinnamon. I did not get the mint, as I did when last tasting this wine a little over a year ago. The nose and flavors seem to be in harmony this time. Fairly intense fruit concentration. Good balance and structure. A nice finish, except for a very slight touch of heat on the back palate.
