90 Points

Monday, May 6, 2013 - The nose is subtle, barely fragrant but pleasant enough. We paired this with a pasta with artichokes and tarragon, and the wine matched this perfectly -- was probably best with food, as it highlighted some of the herbal/anise/celery-like qualities in the wine. After the taste, the finish was the best part of this for me -- subtle and not very concentrated (as was the sip), but long and persistent. Everything is perfectly in balance, not a rough edge on it. With that said, it's not so interesting that I'd seek out more. It was an excellent complement to well-prepared food, but middling on its own.
