Saturday, May 18, 2013 - Union des Grand Crus de Bordeaux Tasting in Bordeaux (Bordeaux, France): Very dark wine, but starting to show some age on the rim.
The nose is medium+ in intensity, lots of dark fruit and some prunes.
On the palate it is medium+ bodied with medium acidity and soft tannins. It is quite earthy.
This is a very good wine. It is mature, but has some time to go. For me to rate it higher it would need a bit more of everything, especially fruit and acidity on the palate.
2/3 = Good to Very Good

Some time means ten years, doesn't it?
By the way, where is that hot some gurus were speaking about?
Cheers!

It is clearly also a personal question relative to how you like you wine.
That being said unless you like your wine decidedly on the old side, I would probably view it as a wine where you should be happy if you drink the last bottle at any time from 5 to 10 years from now.

Agree. Almost everything here is a personal matter.
Anyway opinions are always welcome in order to close mine too.
Gonna wait until 2023 for my bottle.
Heat went out of here, it seems to...
