92 Points

Saturday, May 25, 2013 - Brick disc, translucent robe. What a beautiful Pauillac nose - lead pencil, cedar, a little tomato leaf; the fruit fading but present. This brings out a little barnyard with air. This is balanced in the mouth, but not showing nearly as much as the nose - red fruits, smoke, tomato leaf; simple. Finishes with Darjeeling tea and tomato leaf. Aristocratic but late maturity; needs to be drunk now.
