Sunday, April 15, 2007 - This was a nice suprise. I have only tried a few CA Tempranillos and this has been the best so far. It is not an elegant or nuanced wine, but for the price point it works. This is on par with the $10 - $20 Spanish Tempranillos. Red fruit and licorice on the nose. Dark cherry fruit attack. A sense of dried fruit lingers on the moderate finish. Nice balance and structure. 3 of 5
