Tuesday, July 2, 2013 - Young. Black current, plum, cedar, graphite, minerals - classic left bank. Great concentration and line across the palate. Tannins are slightly dusty and provide excellent grip to the finish, but there are signs they are resolving. Serious stuff here and still pretty tight. No funk in this bottle. This was consumed after a 1 hour decant (over about 2 hours) - in hindsight, probably not long enough. Let this sleep for another 7-10 years.
