Still very young, but incredibly promising.
My first ever rendez-vous with this grape. Decanted 5hrs. Dark, plummy cherries with geraniums and roses, both on nose and palate. M+ tannin and M++ acids. Little hollow on mid-palate and slightly short, but a rich, full bodied expression that nevertheless kept us curious for the whole dinner at Le Message (Yokohama). Terrific food wine. Looking forward to our next encounter in 2-3 years. 2 btls to go and we see a potential for this wine to reach 92p. If only... :-)
