Saturday, August 10, 2013 - After a meh tasting at LWS, we adjourn to drink wine (S2's House): A nice wine that has come together well. There is a slight rough/rustic edge to the tannins but then it transitions to smooth cassis, a little blackberry with some wild strawberry. With time in the glass green herbal flavors emerge with lilac perfume and some chalky grape Sweet Tart notes. This is showing nice balance. It's a shame this estate has discontinued the wine; it was always a nice drink.
