Saturday, June 8, 2013 - Dreamtasting #5 (Restaurant Merlet, Schoorl): My goodness, these white Chapoutiers are grabbing me by the throat, time and time again.... I was stunned by the multiple layers in the mysterious, Arabian Nights-like nuances of dried fruit, spicebox, incense, tea leaves, candied ginger and tropical flowers. Warm and caressing mouthfeel, soft, plush and charming. Appears to be in a really beautiful phase right now. Complex and impressive, wow! 18.5-19/20
