Saturday, August 31, 2013 - Sea breeze with lemon zest, apple blossom, and a mineral, slight bitter lemon-anise aspect; wet rocks, custard, cheese rind is in there too. Medium acidity, not zingy, slight caramel apple, broad shouldered Chablis, pleasant, eminently drinkable with depth and a long finish. Despite all the above, this is classic '09 with lower acidity and focus, and a richer, easier going mouthfeel. Not lacking in stuffing though.
