Wednesday, September 4, 2013 - I have read some of the reviews from 2010 and 2012 and I don't find this wine to be tremendous. Some dark colored fruit, some acid, but nothing making it great....just so so. It was paired with a wonderful home made chilli dinner, which brought out the best in the wine frankly. I wonder if because this is the second year that the wine was made, that perhaps there is not as much vine maturity which is perhaps why it is not as ageworthy. Lastly, I got this at a very low price and unless the newer vintages are a great improvement, cannot see the point of paying over $18 for this vino.
