Sunday, October 6, 2013 - Gorgeous mature Rioja: savoury, nuanced, resonant - a profound aged wine - yet still very fresh and vibrant, too. Rose petals, tobacco, medicinal aromas; heady spices, lively acidity and rich red berry and dark fruits on the palate. So much energy and depth. Very persistent. Truly satisfying and rewarding.
