Sunday, October 20, 2013 - The wine is clear and bright with a medium brown colour and a bit of deposit. The nose is clean and fully developed, with medium intensity aromas of dried figs, prunes, liquorice, nail varnish remover and hints of caramel. It's medium-sweet in the mouth, with medium- acidity, low alcohol (for a fortified), full body and medium+ intensity flavours of dried figs, nail varnish remover, liquorce, caramel and cherries. Long finish. It's a good quality wine that lacks some complexity and balance, but it has a very good concentration and length. Drink now, it won't develop, but can be kept for 4-6 years.
