Sunday, February 21, 1999 - A wine that speaks clearly of its region. Coming from Marlborough, it has quite a bit of acidity, which is refreshing and alot of oak influence. Overall, however, I was underwhelmed. The wine offerd one dimensional fruit, and at this early stage of the swines development, I felt the fruit and oak hadn't fully married. The wine did not offer the extra dimension that great chardonnay does.
