Saturday, November 9, 2013 - Jackpot. Rustic, but everything in its place. Single vineyard Napa, great winemaker, and $25? Dang.
Chunky, funky, loamy, smoky, spicy, prickly. Packed with all the reasons that one drinks Syrah. Pure focused fruit is perfectly integrated. Herbal streak (thyme, rosemary) adds interest. Long finish. Begging for a fine cigar.
Overall, feels case-worthy given the price and quality. Moreover, has the bones to evolve over at least a decade. Very highly recommended, if available (~300 cases).
