Saturday, May 26, 2007 - Raspberry colour, somewhere between a dark rosé and a light red. Quite a tart nose, with strawberries, raspberries, cranberries and light citrus. Fairly acidic, with slightly unripe red fruits on the palate, and more tannic than I'd expected. A more 'grown-up' taste than I remember, like a cold-climate pinot noir. Might go very well with a light fish or poultry dish. Not bad.
