Tuesday, November 19, 2013 - An interesting mix between Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah (called Shiraz in Oz) that actually tastes a bit like both! This particular bottle was mature and well balanced.

Cedar, earth and fruit on the nose, with smooth tannins and dark fruits, a hint of burnt oak and vanilla on the palate. The 14.5% alcohol was not evident in any way. A little juicy around the edges (I blame the Shiraz) all in all an easy mature drinker.
