Saturday, November 30, 2013 - A mouthcoating wine with firm tannins over berries, plum, pungent spices (clove, nutmeg, and the mustard seed that I note in Sardinian wines), coffee, and chocolate. The nose has some floral (violet), leather, dark berries, and dried fruit. Acidity is bright and the finish is long. This is an excellent wine that still has a good 5 or 10 years to go. Very nice wine.
