Thursday, February 5, 2004 - Tasted at Handford's, in same flight with 1985 Palmer and 1985 Lynch Bages. Quite a sweet nose of dark berries and coffee. Palate is less upfront than the other two wines. Notes of mint on the palate, but great balance with plenty of underlying fruit. Needs 5 more years of cellaring to reach peak.
