Sunday, December 15, 2013 - A fair tight nose of super ripe black fruit, red fruit and spice. The palate just seems over done with ripe and sweet red and black fruit. Dense and primary. Some burnt rhubarb and coffee. Narrow finish of medium length. I'm sure this will unwind in time, but the flavor profile is not for me. That said, it's a DRC so I will happily drink it when opened.
