Thursday, December 19, 2013 - Agree with previous tasters that this smells like an Aussie Shiraz, and while a tasty red wine, this doesn't have much Pinot character, even when you consider Brian's style of winemaking. A bit ripe, but not a wine out of character for what Loring produces. A tough pairing with food, but I think this would work well with Duck or Salmon.
