Still in that ballpark, but this bottle is still unforthcoming - beautifully pure red fruit flavors with a new oak overlay evident, but the acid is still pronounced leaving a more or less closed and ungenerous wine on the palate. Will leave it on the sideboard overnight and see where we are tomorrow night. Something else will have to go to the New Years Eve dinner.

One day later offered more, but as the wag once observed, the future of this wine is very much ahead of it.
