Thursday, January 2, 2014 - 375. Beautiful nose of cedar and earth in the decanter but markedly less pronounced in the glass. Dark fruit. Not the most complex but on balance, the classicism makes it enjoyable. The palate borders on austere at first but fleshes out nicely with a couple hours in decanter. Definite resemblance to the '98... and both are still young.
