Thursday, January 9, 2014 - Right now the wine is in a bit of an awkward state. The tannins are coming across hard and dominant. The depth is there and the promise is exciting but it appears to need 5 more years to soften and allow the layers of fruit to come shine. With a very long decant you can taste the underlying material which is delightful.
