Sunday, March 2, 2014 - Rating Scholium reds is sometimes difficult. The wine is certainly a juvenile. That said, this ain't like any merlot you've ever had. The wine is currently all angular and edges. There is some serious fruit however. These wine often challenge the intellect and the palate and this is no exception.
