Tuesday, March 4, 2014 - Apple and pear with subtle notes of quince, peach and lemon. The oak seems quite prominent on the palate as well. Slightly off-dry with really nice, zippy acidity and a touch of heat from the 13.8% abv. Short finish. Enjoyable, but at this price it left me wanting better balance and more complexity.
