Sunday, March 30, 2014 - Big and upfront aromas of ripe red and black fruit on initial pour into a decanter. Let it sit an hour or so in the decanter. Feels very tight on the palate. Needs more bottle time. Goes to sleep on the midpalate, but comes back to life on the finish. Showing vanilla bean, toasted cedar, and red cherry. Bright acidity and gripping tannins on the finish. Has the potential to develop over the next 4-5 years.
