Wednesday, April 23, 2014 - Good cork. Medium garnet core, still a touch of ruby, pale garnet rim. Attractive, developed, rich earthy nose, mulchy and autumnal but also a touch of florals. Medium/full on the palate, earth, sous-bois, spice, underlying plum fruit, rich but with attractive contrasting bright acidity, tannins have softened quite nicely but does fall away a touch on the finish. Nevertheless a decent maturing Pommard, very good indeed and beginning to drink well.

    Thanks, Darrell
