Nevertheless, this bottle lacked a little finesse and the red fruits dominant (raspberry especially) palate did not linger for long. We both much preferred a 2008 Arnoux-Lachaux Echezaux that we had a few nights earlier (which had darker and more complex fruits, and was much more refined).
