Sunday, June 8, 2014 - Tried a 30min double-decant and cool down instead of 2-3hr decant... OMG it was wonderful. Initially light it gained weight with air. Glorious cedar and cigar tobacco nose. But the mouthfeel was off the charts; an almost oily (more than creamy) character and pure velvet on the tongue. Impeccable balance and lingering (albeit not particularly intense) charcoal and sweet black cherry finish. Drank the whole bottle myself over 3hrs. I debated whether this was 96 (probably) or 97pts, but gave it the extra point because of the sheer balance and class.

Edit: after drinking this for 2.5hrs (small pours from the bottle, on my own) there is a sudden surge of intensity - massively broad in the mouth and a huge finish. Wowzer. Definitely deserves the 97pts. Glad I've got 2 more cases left.... This will drink for ages!
