Tuesday, June 10, 2014 - I agree with a few of the other reviewers that this is a big, fruit-forward, jammy wine that leans more toward Aussie shiraz and not PN. While a lot of wines from the Santa Rita Hills tend toward a new world style, this one far surpasses. While delicious, it overwhelms many of the subtle nuances that we seek in our preferred Oregonian PNs. We recently tasted a smattering of 2012 PNs in Loring's tasting room, and those wines are much more on track with the PN varietal characteristics.
